Blog #1 - Write a paragraph explaining your expectations for what you hope to learn in the CPT course.- During the CPT course i hope to learn about the basics of audio work and filming. I would hope to make a film and learn how to edit it. I would like to learn more about blogging and being able to all of the options in the program. Also being faster with using the program. Blog #2 - a) List the kinds of products and services that you think are included in the communication production industry sector. (ex. Service: news broadcasts, Product: news papers). Computer, television, cell phones, radio, ipod, myspace facebook. b) What product and or service could you live without.I could live without newspaper, radio, i-pods and television. These services aren't that important to me, and i could find other ways to communicate. c) What product and or service could you NOT live without.I could not live without my cell phone, or compuer/internet. This is because I use these services on a daily basis.Blog #3 - What are 6 things that you can do to make sure you contribute effectively as part of your group for the Life Without Communication Technology project?To make sure I contribute to my group I will make sure I help making the poster. I will help the members of my team if they need help with something within the project. I would make sure I was apart of editing the project. I would also manage my time well to make sure the project got done ontime. Blog #5 - What is your favorite radio station and why? I don't have a favorite radio station. If i had to choose it would be 98.9 because it has the best music. It also has the best hosts. It also doesn't play the same music over and over. Blog #6 - What is your favorite television show and why? I don't have a favorite t.v show, I don't watch much t.v because I have a busy life and I don't have much time for t.v . The odd time i do turn on the t.v I usually watch friends. Blog #7 - Using the internet, find a current news article that is of interest to you. Summarize the article and tell me why you chose it. I picked this article because i thought in was an interesting way to get rid of your chapped lips, most people think using chapstick is the best altenative , but this article shows you otherwise... basicly don't use chapstick for your chapped lips! And don't lick them it only makes them worse.#9 What is Facebook? Google an actual definition. What are 4 advantages and 4 disadvantages of using Facebook. Blog #13 - What is the best price/deal that you can find on a new X-Box 360 game console on Ebay? Why do you think it’s a good price/deal? Do you use ebay at all? Why or why not? The best price for an X-Box on Ebay is 88.71$ . I think this is an average price.. i wouldn’t buy it unless it was less. I don’t use ebay, but my family does.

I watched Bridgestone: “Taters”. I think this was voted top ten because it is entertaining . I thought it was funny and entertaining , I think it show cased the the theme well.

I watched the video free doritos. I think it was voted top ten because it was very funny. It had a funny subject . It was funny and entertaining, it wasn’t to long . The actors were also good … and it kept to the subject.

If everyone in the world had cell phones and i didn’t that would suck! I would have no way of having a fast way of communicating. I would probably just stick with a friend who could text for the rest of the dayy.

Life without cell phones would be insane! I think it would be good and bad… Comunication would be very difficult because most people use cell phones as a way of communicating. But then again it would be good cause then families would actually spend time together. I like things the waty they are though , because i have my cell phonee,

Nasa has been using recent technology for many many years. It is important for nasa to use recent technology becuase they are up in space and need to newest technology out there.
#20What impact has facebook had on your life and why?
Facebook has not had that big of impact on my life. During my free time I like to go on so I am alawys busy. The only thing is that everyone knows your buisness and lots of conflicts can occur.

Brown Communications group is a communication company . They do research, planning&strategy,branding, social marketing, creative , interactive, mediea and advertising. They can make websites for people and commercials.
#24Google CTV Regina. What did you learn from the website?
They are a news station that take news from the local area and world. They deal with entertainment, sports, buisness , sci-tech, health politics, weather. It is also a station that airs different shows.
#26n What movies are playing at the Galaxy right now? Which movie would you most like to go to and why? What is your favorite snack at the theatre?
Movies playing in the theatres are Fame, Cloudy with a chance of meatballs, Surrogates(no passes), The invention of lying, Trailer park boys, Zombieland. Out of all of those Iwould like to see Fame. I like the actors/actresses, I like to watch dancing and thats mainly what the movie is about. My favorite snack to eat at the theatre is popcorn, I also like the frozen yougourts they have.
Blog #27 - If you were stuck on a desert island and could have any three things with you, what would they be and why? If i was stuck in the dessert i would bring a life tine supply of water so i wouldn't get dehidrated, i would bring matches so i could light a fire to prepare meals on, and i would bring basic food so i wouldn't go hungry.

I like it because it is funny and entertaining. It has more mature humor, but I think thats why it makes it funny. I like the Characters because they are all different and unique. My favorite character is Stuey. He is hilarious!

How have your first two days of the week gone at school? Well this our first day back at school from the long weekend... But today is good, I am tired as usuall and bored.
Blog #34 - What is the most successful Canadian sales/advertising campaign ever launched? (hint... think back to the field trip and the place we went between tours). Would you agree that it is a good strategy and why? Does it encourage you to buy the product? why? The most successful advertising campaign is the Tim Hortons roll up the rim to win. It's a good strategy because people buy more coffee than they normally would. People are easily encouraged to buy the product because they like the chance that they have of winning a prize, even if it is only a donut.

Blog #40 – What are you going to do on your Easter break… other than working on the ten page essay that I am going to be giving you to do tomorrow? Haha very funny.. i will be going to Saskatoon to visit with family. And i will be doing no homework.
Blog #41 – If you could interview any celebrity at all… who would you interview and why? If i could interview any celebrity I would interview Ryan Renolds. I would interview him because i think he is extremly HOT!! He is also a great actor , I love all of his movies.

I think this video is amazing because everyone in the crowd including the judges thought she was a joke and wasn’t gonna do good, but she turned around and amazed them with her voice. Blog #43 – Google Twisted Pair Productions. Will will be touring their on Friday morning. What did you learn about the company? Twisted Pair productions is a Audio post production and sound recording studio, they do technical expertise , sound, music recordings for film , televsion productions, commercial campaigns.
Blog #44 – Google Java Post Productions. We will also be touring their on Friday. What did you learn? They are a editing and visual effects facility in Western Canada. They also did services for the hit show Corner Gas.
Blog #45 – What ideas do you have for your major video production (3-4 minutes)? ex. commercial, reality show, music video, movie trailer. There must be a PURPOSE to the video. Projects will be groups of 3-4. Who do you think you could work with responsibly and effectively (Miss Ryba will have the final decision as to whether or not certain people will be allowed to work together.) For a video production I would do a comedy video. I think i would work well with Casey or Kellan .. I think we would be a good team because we are all focussed, and we will work well together because we know our talents.
Blog #46 – What did you like the most about the field trip on Friday (other than the mall) and why? If you weren’t on the field trip…. what did you do on Friday and on the weekend? I liked the field trip we went on because we got to see places we wouldn’t usually get to see. We got to learn about the way they do things, and we got to be on T.V , and thats not something we would get to do, unless we went on this field trip.

On a scale of 1 to 6 (6 being extremely dangerous to the world), what is the Swine Flu rated at? The swine flu is rated a 6. An acute and highly contagious respiratory disease of swine caused by the orthomyxovirus thought to be the same virus that caused the 1918 influenza pandemic. It originated in Mexico, this flu is killing people.
Blog #48 – What do you enjoy eating and/or drinking the most from Tim Hortons? What is the calorie and nutritional value in it? I enjoy eating bagels from Tim Hortons, and like drinking peach juice. The bagels from Tim Hortons probably have no nutritional value and are fatening, I don’t eat them often tho. The [peach juice isn’t bad for you it just has lots of sugar.
Blog #49 – Where are there more germs? On a computer keyboard or on a toilet seat? Google this and report on your findings (min. 5-6 sentences). Your toilet seat is cleaner then your keyboard! A keyboard is touched more by your hands and your hands can carry more germs. Most people don’t bother to wash down their keyboards , collecting even more germs.
Blog #50 – Are you looking forward to summer holidays? What are your plans for the summer? Yes I am looking forward to the summer !! I am going up North to visit my grand parents, While I am up there I am going to work for my grand pa in his restaurant and golf course. I am also exited cause I will be turning 16 and getting my liscence.
Blog #51- What were your marks on the report card you got yesterday? What classes are you taking next year? I don’t know what my marks on my report card were cause I didn’t get it. And I have not decided what classes I will be taking next year. I know I am forsure taking phsycology.

Blog #54 – What is happening on Blades of Glory? 5-6 sentences. In blades of Glory there are two figure skaters who hate each other. They end up getting band from skating for fighting each other after they tied. There lives are not good for the times they are not skating. They end up being parteners tto compete and win the gold medal, and end up being friends.
Blog #59- Are you looking forward to seeing the following movie?
No i’m not looking forward to seeing this movie.. I may be one of the few, but I never really liked any Twilight movies, and have never even seen the first onee.
